Dr. Honda supervises naturopathic medicine shifts at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She also works in private practice in Shoreline and is an adjunct faculty member in Bastyr University's Department of Homeopathy.
Dr. Honda's particular interests include the use of homeopathy and Bach flower essences to help patients achieve a state of greater health and ease, but are not limited to these modalities. She is comfortable utilizing an integrative medicine approach when necessary. Dr. Honda's interests are diabetes, fibromyalgia, hypertension, eczema, insomnia, food allergies, and determining specific nutritional deficiencies.
Dr. Honda is a naturopathic physician who enjoys working with patients to help them achieve better health and greater ease in their lives. She strives to use compassion and understanding in her interactions with patients and creates treatment plans that are specifically designed for each person's needs.
Dr. Honda feels that health care should be available to all. From volunteering with The UCLA School of Nursing on Skid Row in Los Angeles in the mid 1990s to coordinating the weekly health care shift at Tent City 3, Dr Honda has long enjoyed working with homeless and low-income populations.
Dr. Honda received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 2009 and her Bachelor of Science Microbiology from University of California Davis in 2000.
