Susie Hayes is a clinical supervisor and an acupuncture preceptor at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She has had her own private practice in Kirkland for almost 16 years.
Hayes' clinical interests include women’s health, pregnancy, fertility, digestive health and nutrition, pain and physical trauma, psychiatry, neurology (stroke, MS, Parkinson’s and epilepsy), cancer support and chronic illness, with acupuncture and lifestyle coaching. She enjoys working in collaboration with other providers to facilitate integrative care.
Hayes considers the whole person, including lifestyle choices, when partnering with patients to address their health concerns with acupuncture. She educates the patient on the energetic influence of their choices, encouraging them to make smart choices that contribute to their happiness, success and energetic potential. When patients are fully involved with their journey to health, their acupuncture treatment results are significantly more rapid and lasting. Her focus as a provider is on patient communication, achieving maximum health results with acupuncture, and disease prevention through successful acupuncture and patient education.
Hayes has 16 years' experience in full-time practice. She has also taught courses through Bastyr University's Department of Certificate, Community and Continuing Education and National Industry Associations.
