Lela Altman, ND, LAc
Current Roles
Dr. Altman is a second-year resident at Bastyr Center for Natural Health, where she supervises student clinicians in Team Care and sees patients in Practitioner Care.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Altman's clinical interests include pediatrics, homeopathy, physical medicine, acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
Healing Philosophy
Dr. Altman's medical philosophy involves empowering patients to achieve optimal health through education, support and guidance.
Past Experience
Dr. Altman has previously worked as a teaching assistant and research assistant at Bastyr University and a graduate medical assistant coordinator at The Evergreen State College.
Education & Affiliations
Dr. Altman earned her ND and her master of acupuncture from Bastyr University and completed additional homeopathy training at New England School of Homeopathy. She earned and her bachelor of science in biology at Evergreen State College, where she also trained to become a medical assistant. She also became a Certified Nursing Assistant after training at William Rainey Harper College.
