Guiltinan: CFS is a debilitating condition that manifests primarily as severe, prolonged fatigue. The reason it's termed a syndrome is that many other symptoms may also be present. DM: What are the symptoms of CFS, and how will I know if I have it?
Guiltinan: Symptoms of CFS include: - Severe, persistent fatigue of more than six months duration
- Recurrent sore throat
- Lymph node swelling
- Headache
- Muscle and/or joint pain
- Intestinal discomfort
- Depression
- Loss of ability to focus and concentrate
- Sleep disorders
The only way to know if you have CFS is see your health provider.
