Shannon Hirst, ND

Dr. Hirst is a first-year naturopathic resident at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She has also worked for two years at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, spent two years at a local immunotherapeutics company, and completed public health preceptorships in Ecuador and Mexico while a student at Bastyr University.

She describes her clinical interest as family medicine. Her personal healing philosophy is that "good health is a life-long process that can be deeply satisfying at each step, no matter the starting place."

Dr. Hirst received a BS in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Western Washington University and an ND from Bastyr University. She has also completed Pacific Yoga Teacher training and is an LMP from the Brenneke School of Massage. She is a member of AANP, WANP and the American Herbalists Guild.
