Before coming to Bastyr Center for Natural Health, I had plantar fasciitis that caused me so much trouble walking that I almost had to quit my job. Now I can walk two to three miles a day without pain.

In the past, I saw a foot specialist who gave me a drug that I wasn’t happy about. As an alternative, I decided to try acupuncture at Bastyr Center. I received weekly treatments, and during one of my appointments my acupuncture student clinician noticed that my foot was out of alignment (which was so professional and amazing!), and she referred me to someone at Bastyr Center for physical medicine services. The physical medicine doctor taped and aligned my foot, and it is now 99 percent healed. I am addressing other aspects of my health at Bastyr as well, like my exhaustion. The last time I saw my Bastyr acupuncturist he asked me, “Now that your foot is fixed, what do you want to fix now?” I said, “I want to lose 15 pounds.” And he said, “Okay, we’ll work on that.”

What I love about Bastyr Center is that I am treated with the respect and care that I feel I deserve. I am so impressed with everyone I’ve seen there. I have appreciated their professionalism, their knowledge and their progressive focus on the latest natural health research and new technology. And they're just the nicest people!
