Current Roles

Dr. Lumiere is a core faculty member in the School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Bastyr University. She sees patients at Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Team Care as a supervisor or privately in Practitioner Care.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Lumiere's academic and clinical interests include electro-acupuncture, Chinese dietary therapy, cancer, immunity, menopause and stroke rehabilitation.

Healing Philosophy

Dr. Lumiere's past research projects have been on herbal therapies for breast cancer and on community acupuncture demographics.

Education & Affiliations

Dr. Lumiere received a bachelor's degree from Evergreen State College, a master's degree from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine and a doctorate degree in acupuncture and Oriental medicine from Bastyr University. She is a member of the Washington Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Alliance.
