Join us for our 10th Annual Bastyr University Herb & Food Fair Celebrating our Cultural Traditions Keynote Speakers: Deborah Frances, Jennifer Hahn and Sandor Ellix Katz Saturday, May 31, 2008 10am – 5pm Bastyr University Campus and Grounds 14500 Juanita Drive NE, Kenmore WA 98028 Bastyr University announces its 10th annual Herb & Food Fair- "Celebrating our Cultural Traditions", to be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Growing every year, this FREE annual event has educational and fun activities for the whole family. Healthy lifestyle vendors, public talks and lectures, cooking demonstrations, guided herb garden and reflexology path walks, live music and much more are scheduled throughout the day for all to enjoy. Keynote speakers include: Deborah Frances, ND internationally renowned naturopathic physician and herbalist; Jennifer Hahn, adventurer, wild food harvester and author of Spirited Waters: Soloing South through the Inside Passage; and Sandor Ellix Katz, author of Wild Fermentation, who will be offering three workshops at this years fair. Herb & Food Fair guests can park free at the Kenmore Park & Ride located at 7346 NE Bothell Way, Kenmore, and take the free event shuttle which runs all day. The free bus will be available every fifteen minutes, from 9:30am to 5:45pm. Limited event parking will be available on campus for a $5.00 fee. For additional information, call 425.602.3107. Bastyr's whole foods cafeteria will be open for those who wish to purchase vegetarian treats and other food vendors will be available onsite at the fair.
