Our Chinese Herbal Dispensary carries high-quality Chinese herbs. This includes over 300 commonly used "loose" Chinese herbs (consisting of various raw and prepared materials which are boiled together to make a decoction or tea) as well as over 80 formulas and over 200 individual herbs in concentrated, powdered extract form. While the latter type of preparation is more convenient, it is slightly less potent than the loose herbs.

We also carry approximately 150 prepared medicines (pills, powders, tinctures, topical plasters, and liniments), some of which are produced in China and some of which are produced in the United States. These are a convenient and relatively inexpensive way to take Chinese herbs. We fill herbal prescriptions from licensed practitioners by fax or telephone.
