Special Rates at Bastyr Center

Bastyr Center for Natural Health accepts most health insurance plans. If you are uninsured or your plan does not cover our services, you may qualify for rate assistance.

Special rates for all uninsured patients:

• All patients paying cash at time of service are eligible for a discount
  
  
• Nutrition visits are $25 when paid at time of service
  
  
• Counseling visits are $20 when paid at time of service

Additional rate assistance is available
to qualified patients:

• Income-based rate adjustment
  Requires two forms of income verification.

There is no rate assistance option for patients whose insurance covers natural medicine.

Rate assistance is offered only to uninsured patients or those whose insurance is with a carrier with whom we are not contracted. Fees must be paid in full at time of service. Income-based special rates require two forms of income verification.

Eligibility will be confirmed by a patient services representative, verified by income statement and reviewed semi-annually from the date of enrollment. Accepted forms of income verification: (for current pay period) pay stub, bank statement, disability award or income tax form signed by preparer and filed with IRS. Patients with permanent disability status are exempt from semi-annual review.
