As people grow older, it is important to look at the many factors that influence healthy aging, including nutrition, exercise and preventive medicine. Bastyr Center offers several services — including acupuncture and Oriental medicine, naturopathic medicine, nutrition and counseling — to give seniors the opportunity to explore natural treatment options to improve and maintain their health. In the Team Care setting, seniors will work with a supervising clinician and advanced student clinicians to develop a customized natural approach to address their unique health care concerns. Natural treatment may include nutrition suggestions, lifestyle modifications, herbal medicines, homeopathy or other natural products. All seniors aged 62 or older are eligible for $15 visits to any department at Bastyr Center and 15% off all dispensary products.
